Technical Sales Manager - Animal Nutrition 04a/1111/LW• Animal Nutrition • Victoria based Our client is a global leader in the development and supply of high quality trace mineral nutrition products to the animal feeds production sector. Backed by a commitment to science based research and development, their products meet the highest standards of quality and performance, consistently returning outstanding growth, health and development results, in a variety of ruminant and non ruminant animals. This position is in the ruminant division, with a strong focus on the dairy sector. The technical complexity of the product and their physiological and metabolic interactions means that you will have a sound background and qualifications in animal nutrition and be able to supply technical detail, expertise and advice from manufacturers to the farm gate. The position reports through to Australia. Ideally you will have: • An MSc, PhD or vet related degree in Animal Nutrition • Proven experience in sales is very desirable • Ability to present and communicate complex technical knowledge • Expertise in ruminant nutrition essential, preferably dairy This role requires outstanding communication skills, strong self motivation and the energy for extensive travel in Australia, NZ and to a lesser degree Asia. Whilst there is excellent technical and sales support you will be largely self directed and expected to adhere to reporting systems, develop new business and meet sales budgets.
